Reminder: Send in your photos/videos for a teacher appreciation video
Lisa, one of the FOTV VPs, is putting together a little video for our wonderful teachers to say “we appreciate you” and to let them know we are all keeping (mostly) positive with our learning at home!
If you could send Lisa a little still/video of your kids learning at home that she can compile into one sweet video message, that would be ace! Please send to: vicepresident2@llv.community
We will be emailing to Stephanie for her to forward on to her team, but we will also probably place the video on the LLV Parents FB page, so just be aware of that!
Term 3 FOTV General Meeting is postponed
We have decided to postpone our Term 3 GM, currently scheduled for Thursday 12 August, to later in the term.
New date TBD, but likely to be in Week 9 or Week 10.
Stage-based Zooms to keep us all connected
Instead of a GM, we thought you’d all like to get together in stages to share your lockdown highs and lows with other parents. During the week beginning Monday 16 August, we will set up a Zoom for each stage, kicking off @ 8pm on each of Monday-Thursday:
Mon 16/8 – Kindy
Tue 17/8 – Stage 1, Stage 4 (separate Zooms)
Wed 18/8 – Stage 2, Stage 5 (separate Zooms)
Thu 19/8 – Stage 3, Stage 6 (separate Zooms)
Zoom links for each will be sent via email and WhatsApp.
FOTV Business Directory
An FOTV Business Directory has been in the pipeline for a while but we thought now would be a good time to do something about it! As we all adjust to living, working and consuming in lockdown (and with CoVID) let’s support those in our school community.
Please complete this form if your business can do with a little injection of LLV love and we’ll publish details on the FOTV website.
